With new technology, such as genetic modification and transplants, along with the popularity of animal totems and cosmetic surgery and intense fandom or obsessions with fantasy, I believe the trends of the future will take on a whole new possibility of body modification...
And in my novel, I explore all of these trends and the effect it has on culture and society.
My momentum is still good and I'm happily writing for at least 2 hours a day (6 days a week) and often times for +4 hours a day - sometimes as much as 6. It's very cool... I'm loving it. :)
